About the role
The Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating both manual and CNC machining equipment to produce high-quality parts. They ensure accuracy through inspections and adherence to specifications while meeting production timelines. They collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support overall manufacturing operations and maintain efficient shop performance.
What you’ll do- Set up all shop equipment, including Manual Milling, Lathe, and Handscrew machines.
- Set up and maintain operation of CNC Millers and Lathes, including tool offsets and CNC program editing.
- Ensure part quality, conduct dimensional inspections, and meet time standards.
- Read and write English and follow written/verbal instructions.
- Perform basic math.
- Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Proficient with all shop measuring tools and able to read and understand part drawings.
- High School or Technical School graduate.
- 10–15 years Machine Shop experience.
- Setting up and operating all manual and automated equipment within the Machine Shop.

Targeted Salary Range:$30 - $35/hour
Working Hours:7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
