Per Diem Registered Nurse, Waltham Inpatient Unit
The Waltham Pediatric Inpatient Unit is an 11 bed Surgical Unit, with a typical length of stay of 24 to 72 hours. This position is per diem (4 shifts in 6 weeks) with night/weekend rotation.
Key responsibilities:
- Caring for post-operative patients. Age range- infants to young adults. Specialties include:
Orthopedics/Sports Medicine, ORL, Urology, Plastics, Ophthalmology. - Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating for a complex patient population.
Minimum qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Minimum of three years inpatient acute pediatric experience preferred.
- PALS certification.
Please note:
During a public health emergency, individuals in this role may be expected to take on additional duties to respond to organizational needs.
