ECC Veterinary Technician or Assistant - Day Shift- 10k Sign on Bonus

Position is full time 40 hours a week, day shift, 4 day work week, rotating weekends and holidays.

Angell West is looking for experienced veterinary assistants or technicians for our ECC service. We have a $10,000 sign on bonus for new hire applicants who are credentialed veterinary technicians in the state of Massachusetts. This position provides a unique opportunity to practice in an intimate client-focused setting, but with numerous amenities from the larger MSPCA-Angell Boston hospital as support.

MSPCA-Angell West, a non-profit 24-hour emergency and referral satellite hospital in the west suburbs of Boston, was opened in early 2014 by Angell Animal Medical Center. The hospital is over 17,000 square feet and is located 10 miles west of Boston in Waltham.

We are looking for applicants who are reliable, independent and able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude. In addition we are looking for applicants with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and clients. • Veterinary Assistants starting $24-$29/hour
• Certified Veterinary Technicians starting $27-$33/hr
• Additional compensation for candidates with additional experience or credentials may be aligned with their qualifications
• $10,000 sign-on bonus for new hire full-time Certified Veterinary Technicians in this department

Education

• Some college or better in Veterinary Technology or related field.

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in ECC in a fast paced animal clinic or hospital.

Licenses & Certifications

• Certified Vet Tech (preferred)
