Veterinary Assistant/Technician

Positions are full time 40 hours a week, 4 – 10hr days with rotating weekends and holidays - Overnights. Additional $5/hr shift differential for 3rd shift! Angell West is looking for experienced veterinary assistants or technicians for our ECC service. We have a $10,000 sign on bonus for new hire credentialed veterinary technicians for these open positions. This position provides a unique opportunity to practice in an intimate client-focused setting, but with numerous amenities from the larger MSPCA-Angell Boston hospital as support.

COMPENSATION:
Veterinary Assistants starting $24-$29/hour Certified Veterinary Technicians starting $27-$33/hr Please note that candidates with additional experience or credentials may be eligible for compensation aligned with their qualifications.

WHO WE ARE MSPCA-Angell West, a non-profit 24-hour emergency and referral satellite hospital in the west suburbs of Boston, was opened in early 2014 by Angell Animal Medical Center. The hospital is over 20,000 square feet and is located 10 miles west of Boston in Waltham.

Required:

Some college or better in Veterinary Technology or related field.

Required:

At least 1 year of experience in ECC in a fast paced animal clinic or hospital.

Preferred:
Certified Vet Tech
