Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Specialist, Contractor to ensure the delivery of high-quality products through meticulous testing and quality assurance processes. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and performance of deliverables, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
- Perform manual and automated testing across applications to identify bugs, glitches, and usability issues.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to communicate findings, validate fixes, and enhance overall product quality.
- Document testing procedures, results, and defect logs thoroughly to support transparency and project tracking.
- Participate in review sessions to provide feedback on design and functionality, driving improvements early in the development cycle.
- Assist in creating and refining quality assurance processes and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Contribute to user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation efforts to ensure client satisfaction and product readiness.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to testing tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Proven experience in quality assurance testing for software applications or related products.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing processes with some experience in automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, Test Rail).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to effectively document issues and communicate complex information clearly.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
