Chemistry Team Member

Position Overview

As a wet lab chemist on our team, you’ll be at the forefront of creating novel molecular machines and nanocars. You’ll work in our wet lab space, conducting synthesis reactions, performing purification of synthesized compounds, and doing characterization on the isolated product. In addition, you will help to plan future syntheses.

• Design and execute multi-step organic synthesis reactions
• Purify and characterize synthesized compounds using various analytical techniques
• Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks and documentation
• Collaborate with the Computation team to validate theoretical predictions
• Ensure all laboratory safety protocols are followed
