Delivery Driver

We are looking for a part time reliable delivery driver with an upbeat attitude
 who values being part of a fun successful owner operated business. Success in
 this role is demonstrated by transporting product on time and in good condition
 to our 3 retail stores and a small number of additional local partners.

Core

Job Responsibilities:

* Pick the product from a walk-in freezer based off of a pick list that is
    provided to you each morning.
  
* Load product onto freezer truck
  
* Deliver product to company’s retail and local partner locations (3-4 stops on
    average per day)
  
* Unload product from freezer truck and into retail location’s walk in freezer
  
* Update retail locations inventory spreadsheet to reflect product on hand and
    ensure its accuracy after your delivery
  
* Make trips to purchase goods from vendors for warehouse/retail locations on
    an as needed basis
    Additional duties, in line with the role, may be assigned on as needed basis

Required Qualifications:

* Positive attitude and mindset
  
* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  
* Able to lift and carry goods of varying weight (50+lbs)
  
* Work with speed and efficiency when getting product in and out of freezers
  
* Able to spend several minutes at a time in sub zero walk in freezers
  
* Physical ability to repeatedly climb in and out of box truck, and carry
    product up and down stairs
  
* Able to work independently and with a team
  
* Effective time management skills
  
* Basic knowledge of Google Sheets

Work Hours & Benefits:

* 20-25 hours per week (additional hours available in peak times)

Compensation: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

OUR STORY

 Rancatore's Ice Cream was founded in 1985 by Joe Rancatore. Joe learned customer
 service in the '60s and '70s by watching his dad assist clients at Macy’s in NYC
 and helping Harvey Kopman serve hungry customers at the Posh Nosh Deli in
 Clayton, MO. In 1981 at the age of 27 Joe moved to Cambridge to help his brother
 manage Toscanini’s Ice Cream, leaving four years later to open his own ice cream
 shop in Belmont. Through word of mouth, a consistent product, and many catered
 community events, Ranc's slowly gained the affection of locals and out-of-town
 visitors alike.

 Rancatore’s Ice Cream continues to grow and change, but we maintain the same
 principles that we began with at our original Belmont St location:
Attentive
 customer service, great tasting ice cream, hot fudge made from scratch, and a
 deep sense of gratitude for our employees and the communities that support us.
