Role Description & Responsibilities

The Internal Communications Manager for North America is responsible for high-level storytelling as well as tactical optimization of information flows for staff in North America. Working directly with leadership and diverse operational teams, this role is integral to ensuring that both global strategy and regional business priorities are translated into actionable understanding for North American employees. Beyond optimizing the current rhythm, this role will fully architect and run the internal communications model across the business, serving as the designer of management artifacts and the keeper of regional communication channels.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Strategic Communications & Operational Alignment
  • Develop, deploy, and manage the North American internal communications plan for over 6,000 employees, ensuring it serves Dassault Systemes' corporate vision and regional business priorities, translating strategic goals into localized messaging that resonates across all organizational levels.
  • Build and enforce the North American communication channel governance framework, implementing robust operating mechanisms for internal communications in North America.
  • Build strong relationships with regional executives, senior leadership and the North American communications team. Regularly collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Business Operations, Marketing, and other teams.
  • Regularly report on impact to regional and global stakeholders, applying measures for success, using insights and feedback to adjust tactics with aim of maximizing engagement as well as message retention.
  • As a core partner to the North America MSO structure for operational efficiency assist in architecting the rhythm of business to eliminate friction, instill effective information flows as well as implement effective development and distribution model for standard management collateral. Including but not limited to Weekly Execution Briefs, and Monthly Business Reviews.
  • Manage internal communications efforts for key leadership initiatives such as staff townhalls, in-person events and newsletters, reinforcing key staff messaging. Serve as the communications lead on critical change management projects, such as the North America headquarters transformation, ensuring staff are informed, engaged and supported.
Site Engagement & Global Advocacy
  • Serve as the primary communications liaison for site leaders across North America, working to roll-out North America's employee engagement initiatives, cultivate employee experiences and address localized requests for communications support.
  • Amplify regional success stories, to both local and global audiences, showcasing North America's impact within the worldwide Dassault Systemes' ecosystem.
  • Ensure the promotion of major corporate events and global initiatives, working with global colleagues on activities such as global town halls, innovation challenges, sustainability programs, inclusivity initiatives, and the 3

    DEXPERIENCE Lab. Build relevant local actions and communications to support global initiatives. Support, amplify and facilitate adoption of Dassault Systems' employee advocacy strategy.
Content Creation & Digital Presence
  • Develop and produce high-impact assets, including written communications, videos, executive broadcasts, and photography. Manage content for our internal digital signage (such as screens) at employee sites to ensure a dynamic presence.
  • Develop replicable content for use across North America sites and staffing groups to foster consistent employee experience regardless of location. Equip key leaders with toolkits, talking points and coaching to effectively engage at all levels.

Qualifications
  • Experience working in a complex organization within an internal communications position.
  • Demonstrate experience with independent management of internal engagement projects, planning through to execution.
