Role Description & Responsibilities
Our DELMIAWORKS team is looking for a Pre‑sales Solution Engineer. This role is an ideal fit for someone with a strong technical background and a passion for delivering compelling demonstrations of ERP software in the manufacturing space.
In this role you will be a critical partner for our sales team, providing pre‑sales technical expertise and demonstrating the value of our ERP system to manufacturing companies. Leveraging your deep understanding of manufacturing processes and ERP systems, you will craft tailored solutions, conduct in‑depth product demonstrations, address technical inquiries, and drive successful sales.
- Partner with sales representatives to understand prospect requirements and develop tailored solutions.
- Conduct in‑depth product demonstrations and presentations showcasing ERP capabilities.
- Respond to technical inquiries from prospects and customers.
- Develop and deliver proof‑of‑concept demonstrations.
- Leverage manufacturing process knowledge to communicate ERP benefits.
- Translate customer needs into technical requirements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, presentations, white papers, and competitive analyses.
- Provide training and support to the sales team on product features.
- Contribute to the development of sales tools and resources.
- Work with product, development, and implementation teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Provide field feedback to influence product development.
- Collaborate with project managers to create accurate scopes of work for implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical) and 3–5 years of experience in pre‑sales or technical sales, ideally within the ERP industry (MES/MOM/WMS/QMS).
- Proven experience working with manufacturing companies and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably for manufacturing.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Strong presentation and demonstration skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM and other sales enablement tools.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Excellent time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.

Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, tuition reimbursement, immediate 401(k) enrollment with a 50‑cent match up to 8% of eligible compensation, flexible time‑off, and 10 paid holidays.
Compensation for this role will be between $130,000 and $170,000, representing base salary (or an annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
