Pre‑Sales Solution Engineer – ERP / MES Software

Our DELMIAWORKS team seeks a Pre‑sales Solution Engineer on the East Coast.

In this role, you will partner with sales to deliver technical expertise, demonstrate our ERP software’s value to manufacturing clients, and drive successful sales.

• Partner with sales representatives to understand prospect requirements and develop tailored solutions.
• Conduct in‑depth product demonstrations and presentations showcasing our ERP software’s capabilities for manufacturing challenges.
• Respond to technical inquiries from prospects and customers with clear explanations.
• Develop and deliver proof‑of‑concept (POC) demonstrations.
• Leverage manufacturing process knowledge (production planning, inventory management, shop‑floor control, quality) to communicate the benefits of the ERP system.
• Translate customer needs into technical requirements for development and implementation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including presentations, white papers, and competitive analyses.
• Provide training and support to the sales team on product features and technical aspects.
• Contribute to the development of sales tools and resources.
• Work closely with product management, development, and implementation teams for seamless customer experiences.
• Provide field feedback to influence product development.
• Collaborate with project managers to create accurate scopes of work for implementation.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical) with 3–5 years experience in pre‑sales or technical sales, ideally in ERP (MES/MOM/WMS/QMS).
• Proven experience with manufacturing companies and strong manufacturing process knowledge.
• Experience with ERP systems designed for manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
• Proficiency in CRM and other sales enablement tools.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.

Compensation: $130,000–$170,000 base salary plus target bonus. Benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) enrollment and match, unlimited paid time off, 10 paid holidays, and other comprehensive benefits.

Dassault Systèmes offers an excellent salary with potential for bonus, commensurate with experience.
