Security Supervisor Responsibilities- Supervise a staff of Security Officers, ensuring Officers stay on task, are in full uniform, and provide excellent customer service.
- Patrol and monitor multiple premises to detect irregularities, including suspicious behavior or security breaches.
- Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity.
- Communicate with local law enforcement units and fire departments as necessary.
- Operate mobile unit to monitor the exterior premises.
- Conduct foot patrols of the premises.
- Write detailed reports on incidents that occurred on the premises daily.
- Maintain proper use, completion and submission of all forms associated with patrol activities and/or duties.
- Respond to incidents regarding security and safety concerns.
- Conduct unarmed foot patrols (interior and/or exterior).
- Respond to requests for assistance and evaluate appropriate courses of action.
- Comply with all requirements/directives within the on‑site operations manual/post orders.
- Assume other duties as required by either Client or Northeast Security, Inc.
- Minimum of 2 years of Security experience.
- 5 years of previous work history or ability to explain gaps.
- 10 years of housing history.
- Additional drug screening required.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License for a minimum of 3 years and be able to pass a 5‑year RMV records check.
- Dependable means of transportation.
- Knowledge of CCTV and access control systems preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication.
- Ability to solve conflicts and multi‑task in a dynamic environment.
- Neat and professional appearance.
- Strong professionalism and ethical standards.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
- Must be knowledgeable of all company policies and procedures and maintain effective relationships with all levels of the company and client organizations.
High School Diploma.
