We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated Job Coach to provide hands‑on mentorship, advocacy, and skill‑building for adults with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will work directly with participants on‑site at local employer partner locations and group employment contract sites.

Key Responsibilities:

On‑the‑Job Support: Provide hands‑on coaching at work sites, breaking down tasks into manageable steps, teaching job‑specific skills, and modeling professional workplace etiquette.

Goal Implementation: Implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs), evaluate progress, and adjust support strategies to promote workplace independence.

Skill Building: Assist participants with resume preparation, interview practice, workplace communication, and soft‑skills training.

Inclusion & Advocacy: Act as a bridge between employees and business partners. Promote ADA accommodations, positive workplace integration, and natural supports.

Daily Living Support: Assist participants with activities of daily living (e.g., self‑care, hygiene, basic budgeting, meal prep, and social skills) as needed.

Transportation: Transport and accompany individuals to job sites, appointments, and community activities in local work areas.

Operations & Compliance

Documentation: Keep accurate, timely, and confidential records of service delivery, data tracking, and ISP goal progress.

Communication: Maintain regular contact with the Employment Manager, support networks, and families (when authorized) to ensure coordinated care.

Safety & Standards: Maintain human rights standards, follow crisis intervention protocols, and adhere to agency policy.

Qualifications

Experience: Background or education in human services, direct support (DSP), or working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.

Certifications: CPR and First Aid Certification required at hire (for DDS sites) or within 30 days of employment.

Driver’s License & Travel: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and willingness to travel to local work sites.

Skills: Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; proficient with basic computer applications.

Physical Requirements: Ability to assist, transition, or lift individuals with physical disabilities or limited mobility as needed.
