  • Identify visible wear, damage, or abnormal behavior and escalate promptly.

Daily Operations & Logistics

  • Execute standard operating procedures consistently and reliably.
  • Track robot location, assignment, and availability throughout the day.
  • Coordinate robot handoffs between teams and shifts to ensure continuity.
  • Maintain organized fleet areas, charging stations, tools, and accessories.
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives as the fleet scales.

Issue Detection & Escalation

  • Serve as the first observer for robot issues during handling, setup, or operation.
  • Log issues accurately in work tracking systems with clear descriptions and context.
  • Escalate issues to Robot Captains or Fleet Operations leadership according to defined procedures.

Documentation & System Updates

  • Update fleet status, readiness, and location in tracking systems.
  • Log health checks, incidents, and handoffs to maintain fleet visibility.
  • Follow standardized operating procedures for startups, shutdowns, and shift transitions.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow and reinforce safety protocols when working around high-energy or mobile robotic systems.
  • Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Stop work and escalatie immediately if unsafe conditions are observed.
Core Competencies
  • Customer‑Centric Mindset:
Treats internal teams and leaders as customers in how they operate.

  • Ability to follow technical procedures and checklists with high attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with work tracking or issue management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel.
  • Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, evolving R&D environment.
Typical Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field or equivalent hands‑on experience.
  • 1–4 years of experience in a technical operations/service, lab support, manufacturing, or field support role.
