About The Role
We are seeking a level 2 Software Engineer with expertise in developing Linux-based medical device software. The candidate will design, develop, and maintain the application with integrated TCP/IP-based communication protocols. You will have a strong background in building high‑performance, scalable, and reliable systems, with experience in concurrent, multithreaded system design.

What You’ll Do- Develop safety‑critical C/C++ applications in a Linux environment, adhering to IEC 62304 standards to ensure high‑performance and regulatory‑compliant device operations.
- Work with minimal supervision to solve problems, debug existing software, and implement new features or functionalities.
- Develop and maintain TCP/IP socket‑based communication systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver robust technical solutions.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in design practices, code quality, and development processes.
- Potentially travel to customer sites for issue identification.
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- Experience developing in C/C++ in a Linux environment.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, network troubleshooting, and secure coding practices.
- Understanding of Wi‑Fi 802.11 protocols and encryption including WPA, WPA2, WPA
3. - Working knowledge of NFC/RFID readers.
- Experience with ARM architecture is a plus.
- Experience working with SQLite database is a plus but not required.
- Familiar with version control systems such as Git and SVN.
- Comfortable in shell scripting.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Ability to work for prolonged periods at a laptop or desktop computer.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.

Targeted Salary$95,000 – $115,000 per year.
