Intern, Integration Engineering Internship Overview
This 11-week Summer Internship Program is an immersive experience tailored for highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students who are passionate about science, medicine, and the potential to make a real-world impact. Interns will engage in meaningful, hands-on work and contribute to projects that reflect the complexity and excitement of the biopharmaceutical industry.
Over the course of this engagement, interns will be exposed to a variety of departments, gaining a strong understanding of both their unique role and the drug lifecycle as it enters the market, as well as various career pathways within the industry. The program offers a wonderful opportunity for students to interface directly with Executive Leadership and Key Stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Middleware Support:
Assist in building, testing and maintaining integrations using Snap Logic middleware following established standards and best practices - API & Data Integration:
Support integration development using REST and SOAP APIs and data formats such as JSON and XML - Enterprise Systems Exposure:
Help support integrations across cloud and on-premise applications, gaining experience with systems such as Workday, Coupa and Net Suite - Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
Assist with monitoring integration workflows, investigating issues and performing routine maintenance tasks - Governance Awareness:
Follow established data security, privacy, and compliance guidelines while working on integration tasks - Collaboration:
Work with engineers, analysts and project team members in an agile environment to understand requirements and contribute to integration efforts - Learning & Development:
Build knowledge of middleware platforms, APIs and integration best practices through hands-on experience and mentorship
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- Foundational understanding of APIs, data formats (JSON/XML) and software development concepts
- This internship is open to Junior and Senior level candidates (2027/2028 Graduation Year)
- Familiarity with web services or integration concepts through coursework, projects or internships is a plus
- Exposure to cloud platforms or enterprise systems is helpful but not required
- Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Hands‑on experience in a cutting‑edge biopharmaceutical environment.
