Location:

Pay:
Up to $28/hr
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Shipper to join a fast-paced Shipping Team in a collaborative manufacturing and distribution environment. This role is responsible for accurate and timely processing of domestic and international shipments while ensuring compliance with shipping, export, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Process domestic and international shipments using UPS World Ship, Fed Ex Ship Manager, DHL Easy Ship, and related systems
- Prepare and complete shipping documentation including airway bills, SEDs, and SLI forms
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and LTL carriers for scheduling and shipment execution
- Pack, label, and ship raw materials and finished goods using proper packaging methods
- Support export shipping processes, including AES filings and compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate records in shipping databases and tracking systems
- Operate scanning equipment and barcode systems for shipment processing
- Use Pitney Bowes mail center equipment for outgoing mail processing
- Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives within the shipping department
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years shipping experience preferred
- Experience with shipping software (UPS, Fed Ex, DHL systems)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Export shipping knowledge including AES, SED, and SLI documentation
- Hazardous materials shipping experience (e.g., lithium-ion batteries)
- Familiarity with LTL freight and freight forwarding coordination
- Experience working with databases and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a high-volume environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
- Strong communication skills and team collaboration
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
- Forklift and pallet jack operation experience preferred
- Frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 75 lbs
- Stand, sit, and walk up to 8 hours per day
This role supports cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and Finished Goods in a high-performance environment.
