The Shipper is responsible for processing domestic and international shipments while ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient delivery of products to customers. This role supports shipping operations through packaging, documentation, carrier coordination, freight scheduling, and shipment tracking activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and capable of working independently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and customer service.
Experience with export documentation, shipping software, freight coordination, and international shipping processes is highly valued.
- Process domestic and international shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare, package, and ship raw materials and finished goods using appropriate packaging methods and shipping procedures.
- Generate shipping documentation, including airway bills, shipping labels, export documentation, and carrier paperwork.
- Process shipments using shipping software platforms such as UPS World Ship, Fed Ex Ship Manager, and DHL Easy Ship Professional.
- Prepare and manage export documentation, including Shippers Export Declarations (SEDs), Shippers Letters of Instruction (SLIs), and Automated Export System (AES) submissions when required.
- Schedule shipments with freight forwarders, Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) carriers, and parcel carriers.
- Consolidate shipments to optimize shipping efficiency and transportation costs.
- Enter and maintain accurate shipment data within shipping and inventory systems.
- Provide shipment status updates and tracking information to internal departments and customers as requested.
- Process outgoing mail using company mail processing equipment.
- Utilize barcode scanners and RF scanning equipment to support shipping activities.
- Maintain shipping records and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to support customer requirements and shipment schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform additional shipping and warehouse-related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of shipping, logistics, distribution, or warehouse shipping experience preferred.
- Experience processing domestic and international shipments required.
- Experience using shipping software platforms such as UPS World Ship, Fed Ex Ship Manager, and DHL Easy Ship Professional required.
- Knowledge of export shipping processes and documentation preferred.
- Experience with Automated Export System (AES), Shippers Export Declarations (SEDs), and Shippers Letters of Instruction (SLIs) preferred.
- Experience scheduling freight forwarders and Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) carriers preferred.
Knowledge of shipping, packaging, and freight handling procedures. - Experience with shipment consolidation and freight optimization preferred.
- Experience using scanners, barcode systems, and shipping databases preferred.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds when necessary.
