Board of Health Secretary - Wanaque Borough.The Borough is seeking a Part-time Board of Health Secretary to provide administrative support to the Health Department and Board of Health. The position is the principal point of contact and is responsible for the overall operation of the office, including support for the Board of Health, issuance of permits and licenses, recordkeeping, dissemination of public health information, the rabies clinic, and administration of the County Health Services and Animal Control contracts.
The successful applicant will be organized and knowledgeable in Edmunds and Microsoft Office, and able to utilize specialized software for maintaining and updating the BOH webpages. Strong customer service skills, the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and multitask are essential. The job requires a high level of confidentiality. Attendance at quarterly evening meetings of the Board of Health and occasional overtime are required.
Compensation based on qualifications and experience. We reserve the right to hire a candidate before the Final date to receive applications. EOE. $15,000 - $25,000
