Inventory Control Specialist

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Inventory Control Manager, Braen Supply

• Develop, implement, and manage robust inventory control procedures and best practices (e.g., cycle counting, physical inventory reconciliation)
• Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventories; reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records
• Investigate root causes of inventory variances and recommend corrective actions
• Track and adjust stock levels in the ERP or inventory management system
• Collaborate with yard leads, and purchasing to maintain accurate data on incoming and outgoing products
• Audit inbound deliveries and outbound shipments for accuracy and proper documentation
• Flag slow-moving, obsolete, or overstocked inventory for review
• Support inventory planning for seasonal product shifts or promotions
• Help enforce best practices and inventory control standards
• Assist in preparing for internal or external inventory audits
• Use best practices for product labeling, bin location use, and proper inventory transactions

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required
• 2 years plus of experience in inventory control, supply chain, or operations management
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles (e.g., ABC analysis, EOQ, Just-in-Time)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data visualization)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Clean driving record with ability to travel between Braen Supply locations

• Prolonged periods of driving between locations
• Must be able to lift 75-100 lbs at times
• Must be physically fit, able to assist with moving of equipment/supplies, etc. and climb stairs

• This is a full-time position
• Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm - Schedule is fluid, dependent upon need
• Travel between all current and future Braen Supply locations will be required

Pay Range: $26.00 - $33.00/Hour
