About the company:
Leading electrical engineering manufacturer specializing in integrated electrical, electronic and control solutions based in the Eastern Suburbs. Servicing the mining and camping industries Australia wide for 40+ years.
We are looking for a suitably experienced electrical fitter to join the team predominantly building and testing electrical products associated with the mining and lighting industries, such as switchboards, PFC's, NER's, etc.
Key responsibilities:- Assembling and testing of electrical products
- Measurement, inspection & reporting production parts on both new and used electrical products
- Switchboard assembly
- Fault finding, manufacture and repair
- Some cable and lighting assembly as needed
- Experience in building electrical power products such as switchboards, PFC's, NER's, etc.
- Competent in the use of electrical test equipment both manual and automatic
- Understand electrical schematic and wiring diagram
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent working conditions and clean spacious factory floor and amenities
- Ringwood location with plenty of parking
- Industry leader
- Early finish on Friday
- 38 hours per week
- Immediate start
