RATES UP TO $43.50 PER HOUR PLUS EVENING AND WEEKEND DIFFERENTIALS
WE ARE LOOKING TO HIRE FULL TIME REGISTERED NURSES FOR 3-11 & 11-7 SHIFTS!
The Phoenix Center for Rehabilitation & Pediatrics is a skilled nursing facility caring for both the geriatrics and pediatrics populations. We are currently seeking Registered Nurses for both units for ALL 3 shifts.

- Be able to handle complexity of a Pediatrics unit
- Ability to care for patients with NGT, GT, Tracheostomy, wound care, and temperature instability
- Be able to care for patients on a ventilator machine
- Play an active role in direct resident assessment and care
- Supervise and coordinate nursing personnel in providing direct resident care in adherence to State and Federal regulations
- Dispense medication and perform treatments in accordance with Phoenix Center policies and procedures
- Formulate individualized nursing care plans utilizing the nursing process
- Assess each resident daily and implement a change in the course of action as needed
- Assist the physician on rounds and ensure that pertinent information is communicated to and from him/her and orders are taken correctly
- Participate in the training and supervision of nursing personnel
- Assists with implementation of facility’s Quality Improvement Program
- Assume responsibility for the identification of potential safety hazards and for the identification of non-compliance with facility guidelines
- Maintain accurate resident care records and documents
- Attend and participate in the resident care meetings, staff meetings, and in-services
- Take an active role in teaching and guidance to residents, families, and staff
- Assure that each resident’s attending physician and family, or responsible party are promptly notified of any significant change in the resident’s health condition
- Effectively utilize the general principles of leadership and supervision
- Manage conflict through effective problem-solving and communication skills
- Act calmly and efficiently in handling emergency situations
- Completion of an accredited school of practical nursing
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
