Job Overview

Delivery Driver (CDL) / Yard Worker at Braen Supply, a premier landscape, masonry, and hardware building supplier in the greater tri‑state area. This position is based across Braen Supply’s locations in Haledon, Randolph, and Wanaque, NJ and requires frequent travel throughout the tri‑state region, including New York City.

• Safely operate delivery flat bed and dump trucks throughout the tri‑state area.
• Maintain a valid CDL (Class A or
  
  B) with a clean driving record under MVR policy guidelines.
• Operate a Moffett and other commercial vehicles.
• Safely load and unload materials, ensuring vehicle inspections for leaks or damage before operation.
• Operate a forklift and assist with other equipment as needed.
• Provide product knowledge and customer service to drivers and yard staff.
• Support the yard team in tasks such as material handling, cleaning, and maintenance.

• Safely operate a forklift and/or bucket loader.
• Provide customer service and accurately use a tape measure.
• Load customer orders safely and accurately compile products for delivery.
• Assist with yard maintenance and cleaning.
• Lift or carry up to 94 lbs unassisted.

• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent customer service skills via phone, email, and in person.
• Demonstrated prior experience in similar roles.
• Clear communication and understanding of work‑order directions.

• Constant alertness of surrounding areas, employees, contractors, and homeowners.
• Repetitive stopping, bending, and crouching as required.
• Ability to lift and carry 94 lbs unassisted.
• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Work in close proximity to high‑traffic areas, heavy equipment, and moving machinery.

Based in Haledon, Randolph, and Wanaque, NJ with expected travel to various areas of the tri‑state region.

• Hours are generally 7:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday through Friday;
  Saturday work may be required.
• Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Periodic exposure to high levels of noise, grease, and dust.

$26.00–$30.00 per hour.

$1,500 sign‑on bonus.
