Position Overview

The Concierge plays a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming, and customer-service-oriented environment for residents, patients, families, and visitors at our nursing home and rehabilitation center. As the first point of contact, the Concierge enhances the resident and guest experience by providing courteous assistance, coordinating services, and ensuring communication between departments runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet residents, patients, families, and guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Assist with check-in/check-out procedures for new admissions, discharges, and visitors
  • Respond promptly to resident and family requests, resolving concerns or directing them to the appropriate department
  • Serve as a liaison between residents and clinical/administrative staff to help facilitate communication and satisfaction
  • Provide information about the facility’s amenities, services, daily events, therapy schedules, and dining options
  • Support admissions and marketing teams with tours and orientation of the facility
  • Monitor visitor access and maintain visitor logs in accordance with facility policies
  • Assist with organizing and promoting social events and wellness programs
  • Document and follow up on resident service requests using internal systems
  • Support various administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required;
    Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 1–2 years of customer service or hospitality experience, preferably in healthcare, senior living, or luxury service industries
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a compassionate, patient-centered mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with electronic record system
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with long-term care or post-acute rehabilitation services
  • Multilingual ability is a plus
  • Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and sensitivity to confidential information
