Retail Sales Associate – The UPS Store (Customer Service, Shipping & Printing)

Locations:
Multiple openings across Long Island and NYC

Pay: $17–$20 per hour (based on experience)

Job Type: Full‑time or Part‑time

Schedule:

Must be available to work Monday–Sunday

• Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm, professionalism, and care
• Provide accurate information about our shipping, packing, printing, and mailbox services
• Prepare shipments, pack items securely, and complete accurate shipping documentation
• Operate store systems and printing equipment to deliver high‑quality results
• Handle mail and packages efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Keep the store clean, organized, and safe at all times
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily goals and sales targets
• Participate in ongoing training to grow within our multi‑location organization

• Consistent hours — no late nights (shifts end by 6:30PM weekdays, 5:00PM Saturday, 3:00PM Sunday)

• 1–2 years of previous retail or customer‑service experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, POS systems)
• Attention to detail with strong spelling and math skills
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand for extended periods
• Availability to work weekends as needed
• Friendly, professional, and reliable demeanor
