DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee warehouse and all associated employees.
Responsible for monitoring production performance throughout the day by running reports. Prepares for next day by evaluating outstanding orders needing processed. Staffing needs also need identified.
Will train, re-train and consistently evaluate performance of warehouse team. Will give open and honest feedback and provide a positive motivating culture for employees to succeed and grow professionally.
Initiate programs to set and maintain quality, efficiencies and production levels and communicate standards to staff.
Will assist in troubleshooting computer issues as they arise.
Maintain excellent working conditions, a safe work environment, and high morale within the plant.
Keep Services Manager (or General Manager) informed regarding problems or situations that may affect the overall operation of the plant.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
Additional duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or GED plus college and/or appropriate technical courses
Five years’ experience as a Lead with corrugated manufacturing experience
Candidates are PREFERRED who offer the following:
- College degree
- Experience with HRMS
Must be able to maintain a forklift certification
The following experience is required:
- Production reporting
- RF Scanning
- Order Processing
- ISO knowledge
- Workflow processes
- Continuous improvement methods including 5S
- Recruiting and Training Experience
- FIFO
Directly supervises all employees assigned to the department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; conflict resolution; team building; coaching and leading employees to improve; addressing complaints and resolving problems; documentation; and setting an example of superior behavior, attitude and performance.
LANGUAGESKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as productions reports, sales reports, operating instructions, and training and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, costs, profits, proportions, percentages, and volumes.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDSEmployee is regularly required to walk and talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit. Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
