Location: KYOCERA Precision Tools – 321 Commerce Dr., Wapakoneta, OH 45895

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Overtime mandatory when scheduled
Pay Range: $23.67 - $29.59 / Hour
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt | Full Time

KYOCERA Precision Tools is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Operations and Inventory Support Coordinator to join our team in Wapakoneta. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, working with different teams, and helping solve day-to-day operational challenges.

Our Operations and Inventory Support Coordinators help keep materials, products, and information moving throughout the facility while supporting production and customer requirements across:

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing & Vendor Support: Research products and services, obtain pricing and delivery information, process requisitions and purchase orders, monitor orders, and follow up with vendors to ensure materials and services are received as needed.
  • Inventory & Material Control: Receive, issue, and transfer materials; verify receipts against purchase orders; maintain raw material and finished goods inventory; perform cycle counts; investigate discrepancies; and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Production Support: Create Production Instructions/Documents (PIDs), issue materials and PIDs to manufacturing, and complete and close out PIDs to ensure accurate paperwork and system requirements.
  • Shipping & Receiving: Support incoming and outgoing activities, operate shipping and receiving equipment and software, properly label and package products according to customer requirements, and maintain shipping and packing supplies.
  • Quality, RMA & Documentation: Identify and segregate non-conforming materials, assist with corrective actions, process customer RMAs in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS), and maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, invoicing, and other operational records.
What You Bring Required
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer and software skills.
  • Ability to follow established procedures, quality standards, and work instructions.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

  • Strong organizational, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
  • College coursework or job-related training.
  • Experience in purchasing, inventory control, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of decimal and metric measurement systems.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS).
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Work in a combination of a normal office environment and a well-lit, climate-controlled manufacturing environment with moderate to loud noise levels.
  • Frequently move between sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, pull, reach, and bend, including lifting materials weighing up to 70 pounds.
  • Regularly grip and use hands and wrists for material handling and other job-related activities.
  • Occasionally reach above shoulder height, below the waist, and perform other physical activities required to support operations.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
