Executive Director

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the public face and primary ambassador for the Downtown Wapakoneta Partnership
• Build strong relationships, partnerships, and goodwill throughout the community
• Help create excitement and buy-in for downtown initiatives, events, and revitalization efforts
• Coordinate committees, projects, timelines, and strategic priorities with the Board of Directors
• Lead marketing and communication efforts using social media, website content, email marketing, photography, and digital storytelling
• Support downtown events, promotions, and community engagement activities
• Assist business and property owners by connecting them with resources, grants, incentives, and revitalization opportunities
• Manage day-to-day nonprofit administrative responsibilities including reporting, records, communications, and organizational operations

• A positive, outgoing personality with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Someone who is self-motivated, organized, creative, and comfortable working independently
• Ability to connect with people from all backgrounds and build productive partnerships
• Passion for community development, historic downtowns and local engagement
• Experience in marketing, public relations, business, economic development, nonprofit leadership, or related fields is preferred
• Experience with social media management, website development, and digital communication tools is advantageous.
