Food and Consumable associates focus on two things: taking care of customers and creative merchandising. They move incoming merchandise out to the sales floor and create seasonal display features to meet customer needs. This position is part of Walmart's grocery team.

• Work in our deli and be on the front lines of customer service, enabling a positive shopping experience.
• In our bakery, help customers decorate cakes and celebrate special moments.
• Work in the dry grocery department and help customers find the items they need.
• Maintain detailed cleaning of shelves and department, check and maintain temperature control, verify dates, and dispose of lower‑quality food products across all fresh food or grocery areas.

• Help customers find the products they are looking for.
• Ensure high‑quality products are available in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments.
• Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays.
• Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food.
• Assist customers with ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, or finding produce.
• Keep the area clean, sanitized, and customer‑ready.

* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation can include annual or quarterly performance incentives and premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
