The Cannabis Sales Consultant (CSC) is responsible for creating a world‑class customer experience for all customers. The CSC promotes a positive, customer‑service‑oriented, and compliant work environment and is accountable for executing initiatives that achieve all hospitality goals at the retail Pharm Cann location.

The CSC is responsible for compliance with all policy and procedures, executing visual standards and presentation needs, supporting product performance, sales and marketing objectives, and educating customers about cannabis.

Duties and responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Meet and exceed personal sales volume and KPI goals.
  • Assist in building a great company that disrupts the traditional retail model and embraces change.
  • Add value to the team by being an authentic and confident self‑leader who strives to execute our world‑class hospitality program.
  • Drive repeat business through local networking, customer data capture, patient confidence, and loyalty building.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of products, industry, and cannabis laws and regulations.
  • Proactively answer customer questions and ensure product knowledge.
  • Execute high customer‑experience standards, including a world‑class culture and industry‑leading engagement through strong sales techniques and product knowledge.
  • Accurately utilize Pharm Cann’s Point of Sale system and register transactions with high attention to detail.
  • Execute Pharm Cann’s dispensary protocols, including safety protocols, and comply with all security, safety, and legal requirements.
  • Accommodate flexible scheduling expectations, including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized point‑of‑sale area.
  • Assist with or perform other duties as assigned, including call center, inventory, outreach, security, delivery acceptance, delivery, and visual merchandising functions.
  • Depending on state and location, hold a current driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Project a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
  • Embodies Pharm Cann’s culture, values, and tenets and fully supports its purpose, goals, and key objectives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 21 years of age (or as required by state regulations).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a fast‑paced retail environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess data, facts, and figures.
  • Proven expertise in managing a register accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve problems calmly, professionally, and courteously.
  • Strong computer‑based skills.
  • Dynamic interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Business‑minded personality.
  • Highly self‑motivated and ethical individual.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a state‑specific Motor Vehicle Record background check.

Working conditions

  • This job operates in a professional retail store environment.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
  • This position requires weekends, nights, overtime as needed, holidays, and flexible work availability.
  • May be required to work outdoors and/or during inclement weather.

Physical requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to read, speak, and listen. The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods, walk constantly, use hands or feet, reach with hands and arms, use a phone, and may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
