Position: Grade 6 Teacher (Anticipated 26-27 SY)
MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Licensure required
- Elementary (1-6) and SEI endorsement completed

Ware Middle School is looking for an exceptional teacher who is highly qualified and enthusiastic to join our community of teachers, learners and leaders.

Experience with the workshop model for mathematics, teaching science, and MAP assessments as well as the ability to work collaboratively with others is preferred.

Candidate should have experience with the following:

* Conduct on-going assessments and skill screenings of mathematics of children, and monitor to assure academic progress during year; maintain a variety of classroom records; learn to use MAP by NWEA

* Assure children meet academic benchmarks

* Attend faculty meetings; follow requests and assist with school planning

* Interact cooperatively with parents, related agencies and other professionals

* Implement individual educational and 504 plans in the classroom

* Plan and implement a curriculum aligned with the school's goals, expectations

* Be attentive, flexible and supportive of children and their families through positive communication

COMPENSATION
$54,373-$93,870, commensurate with experience
