• Collaborates with classroom teachers as a partner in the instructional process
• Designs, teaches, and assesses learning experiences that incorporate inquiry learning, information literacies, critical thinking, and self‑assessment
• Promotes a love of reading and lifelong learning
• Promotes reading in traditional and innovative ways such as social media, digital media, and print
• Promotes instructional technology to engage students and improve learning
• Teaches students to build on prior knowledge to construct new knowledge
• Teaches search techniques, including online search engines, database, and catalog searching
• Teaches coding
• Collaborates with other educators to build and strengthen connections between student information and research needs, curricular content, learning outcomes, and information resources
• Maintains an attractive physical environment in the library to promote interest in and use of library materials
• Inventories library books, curriculum materials, equipment, and other items to track current holdings
• Works with administration to develop student‑centered goals for media services and to support and fund a library media program that meets the learning and teaching needs of the school community and supports the Curriculum Frameworks
• Provides direct instruction to grades 4‑6 students

$54,373 - $93,870, commensurate with experience
