HVAC Technician - Maintenance Tech

Pioneer Valley Environmental is looking for a full-time HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team in Ware, MA. This job pays $18 - $22 per hour plus commission and comes with perks such as spiffs, a take-home vehicle, bonuses, incentivized pay, and a company-matched IRA.

• 3+ years of HVAC experience (preferred)
• OSHA/EPA certification
• Valid driver s license
• Ability to provide your own hand tools
• Strong technical skills and the ability to work independently
• Commitment to professionalism and excellent customer service

You ll work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with chances for overtime and on-call work. You ll head straight from your home to your job sites each day and only come to the office for Tuesday meetings.

Each day will start at home as you travel to different customer locations. You ll be maintaining and servicing HVAC and AC systems (oil, gas/NP), identifying any parts that need to be replaced, and performing combustion analysis readings to make sure systems are running safely. You ll also be writing up estimates for needed repairs and talking with customers about their options.
