Job OverviewAs a Teller, you engage in assisting customers with various financial needs and processing transactions. You provide exceptional customer service, resolve concerns, minimize risk and defend against fraud, refer product solutions, and elevate complex issues for timely resolution.
Responsibilities- Provide an elevated level of exceptional customer service by welcoming customers, minimizing wait times and assisting with their banking needs.
- Process transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
- Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
- Adhere to all bank policies and procedures, including compliance and risk management protocols to prevent fraudulent situations.
- Recognize opportunities and cross‑sell bank products to deepen customer relationships.
- Engage customers and leverage digital tools to educate them on self‑service options.
- Assist with custodianship, audits, and other operational tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to create a welcoming environment.
- Support nearby branch locations based on business necessity.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 6+ months cash handling experience.
- 6+ months demonstrated customer service experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
- Ability to identify and elevate concerns of risk to appropriate channels.
- Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures.
- Effective listening and communication skills.
- Comfortable using digital tools and technology to enhance customer engagement.
- Energetic, organized, and able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
- Understanding of the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Computer proficiency and basic math skills.
- Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis without requiring employer sponsorship.
- Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
- Preferred experience in Microsoft Office products.
Minimum: $30,000.00 USD
Maximum: $47,000.00 USD
