Physical Therapist (Per Diem) - Wareham

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic care team at The Tremont Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center
. As a Per Diem Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload while participating in the clinical team process.
Up to $55 an hour with weekly pay.

• Screens patients/residents and evaluates their needs
• Develops and implements individualized care plans
• Provides direct treatment to patients/residents in accordance with an established plan of care
• Consults with and trains patients, residents, and caregivers
• Monitors efficiencies and documents activities according to company clinical documentation system
• Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations
• Communicates effectively with patients, residents, team members, customers, and supervisor

• Bachelor of Science Degree, Master of Science, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
• Appropriate licensing requirements by individual states must be maintained
• Two (2) years of clinical experience preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to perform documentation needs, manipulations of equipment, and direct patient care
• Requires intense attention and concentration
• Ability to cope with periodic stress associated with changing census and staffing demands
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time effectively for self and others
• Ability to deal with a wide range of personality types, ages, and diverse cultural backgrounds
• Ability to articulate and comprehend the English language
• Standing and walking for significant amounts of time is necessary
