Customer Services Ambassador

Per Diem – Day/Evening shift with weekend and holiday rotation; hours vary.
Location: Tobey Hospital – Wareham, MA.

The Customer Services Ambassador supports the Food & Nutrition Department by ensuring customer and patient satisfaction at the cafeteria and other food service locations within the Southcoast Health system.

• Perform a variety of duties in support of the Food & Nutrition Department, including ensuring customer and patient satisfaction.
• Obtain patient meal selections as close to mealtime as possible.
• Perform data entry of patient food preferences and allergies into the Patient Services Software Platform.
• Screen patients for nutritional risk.
• Follow cash-handling practices and procedures.
• Set up cafeteria stations.
• Work retail assignments to meet the needs of cafeteria customers, using the retail sales system as directed.

• Completion of four years of high school plus additional courses or training or equivalent knowledge or experience.
• Minimum of one‑year food service experience.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID‑19, or be exempt for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying choice to be exempt once hired.
• Compensation will be determined based on level of experience.

$16.64 – $23.57 per hour.
