Job Details- Hours:
Per Diem - Shift: Varied start times to meet department needs, with weekend, holiday and on‑call rotation

All perioperative areas (OR, ENDO, CPU) - Location:
Tobey Hospital – Wareham, MA
Under general supervision of the Manager, OR Service Group or designee, the Surgical Technologist will perform various duties including but not limited to providing assistance to the surgical team during the intra‑operative phase, ensuring an aseptic, safe, and appropriately equipped surgical environment, preparing the OR, assembling instrument supply, maintaining sterile fields, handling instruments, initiating counts throughout procedures, and performing on‑call duties as required.
Qualifications- Completion of four years of high school education plus additional specialized courses or training.
- Graduation from an approved Surgical Technology Program.
- Certified Surgical Technologist credential administered by a nationally recognized certification body accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies and recognized by the American College of Surgeons and the Association of Surgical Technologists, obtained within 12 months of graduation or within 6 months of hire if more than 12 months from graduation.
- Certification in Basic Life Support.
- One year of related work experience is preferred.
- Rotation in all perioperative areas (OR, ENDO, CPU).
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID‑19 or be exempt for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement, once hired.

Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
Pay range: USD $31.98 – $48.31 /hr.
