Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is now hiring a Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide exceptional home healthcare throughout the Wareham, MA area.

What You'll Do

As a Home Care Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you'll provide individualized, evidence-based care in patients' homes, including:

  • Evaluating patients’ speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities
  • Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans
  • Providing therapy for communication disorders and dysphagia management
  • Conducting cognitive and functional communication training
  • Educating patients and caregivers on strategies to improve communication and safety
  • Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Completing accurate, timely electronic documentation

Requirements
Need to have:

  • * Current Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license

  • * Minimum of one (1) year of clinical nursing experience

  • * Afternoon availability
Nice to Have:

  • * Previous home care experience

  • * Monday–Friday availability
