An established law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its growing team.
Responsibilities- Handle all phases of civil litigation from inception through resolution.
- Conduct legal research and provide legal advice to clients.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Negotiate and finalize settlements.
- Represent clients in hearings, trials, mediations, arbitrations, and before government agencies.
- Manage multiple cases while meeting deadlines and working independently.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Massachusetts Bar required; additional state admissions are a plus.
- Experience handling all stages of litigation.
- Insurance defense experience is strongly preferred.
- Excellent legal writing, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, dependable, ethical, and able to work independently.
- Salary commensurate with experience.
