Overview

Retail Sales Supervisors champion customer engagement and oversee front‑of‑store operations. The role focuses on increasing sales, conversions, and service levels across the store, actively engaging customers to provide complete solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide peer coaching and support to the store team to drive customer service, sales, and conversion.
  • Deliver an exceptional store experience through consultative selling, driving conversion, and providing total solutions to every customer.
  • Own weekly sales and merchandising activities.
  • Perform the Floor Leader role, directing the team to deliver a great customer experience in all areas of the store.
  • Champion company initiatives, remain adaptable to change, and be flexible to perform other duties as assigned.
  • Remain available and support an engaging environment.
  • Complete daily merchandising and sales tasks opportunistically within the store.
  • Assist with completing and delegating operational tasks in partnership with the GM.
  • Peer‑coach the team on behaviors to win and deliver results through role‑playing and feedback.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the store’s needs.
  • 1+ year experience selling retail products or services.
  • Strong customer engagement skills and an understanding of customer needs.
  • Effective communication, organization, and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Experience coaching or supervising a team.
  • Cooperative teamwork in a high‑paced, sometimes stressful environment.
  • Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner.
  • Integrity and honesty regarding customer and business information.
  • Physical ability to lift/move materials weighing 10–50 pounds, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously.
