Position Summary
Position Summary… What you’ll do…
Responsibilities- Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback.
- Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
- Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicating business objectives to teams effectively.
- Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing and supporting customer service initiatives, and ensuring customer needs, complaints and issues are successfully resolved.
- Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high‑quality customer experience.
- Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL (Profit Loss) statements, managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
- Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, and providing recognition.
- Coordinates, completes and oversees job‑related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports company mission values and standards of ethics and integrity, and implements related action plans utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.
- Builds high‑performing teams that embrace differences, creates a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected, and promotes belonging and continuous learning.
- Acts with integrity by maintaining and promoting the highest standards of ethics and compliance, and supporting Walmart’s goal of becoming a regenerative company.
- Delivers results while putting the customer first, considers and adapts to how, where, and when customers shop, and applies the EDLP and EDLC business models to all plans.
- Strives for excellence by displaying curiosity, taking calculated risks, demonstrating courage and resilience, and encouraging learning from mistakes.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 – $. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and, for certain positions, may also include the following:
- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
- Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges)
State Pay Differential:
This job has an additional differential to meet legislative requirements, where applicable.
- 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
