Wareham Public Schools is seeking dependable, safety-conscious, and student-focused Licensed School Bus Drivers to join our transportation team for the 2026–2027 school year. We are looking for individuals who are committed to providing safe and reliable transportation for our students.

Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, dependability, and a genuine commitment to the safety and well‑being of students.

We are currently looking for Fully Licensed School Bus Drivers to join our staff. The professional bus drivers must be able to meet the necessary DOT physical requirements and to safely perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. The driver must be able to provide an orderly and safe environment for students and also have the ability to engage in appropriate contact with parents and staff.

Bus drivers are subject to randomly administered drug and alcohol testing. A safe driving record is essential. This is a school year position.

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $31 to $36 Per Hour

• Qualified candidates must possess a valid Massachusetts Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements, a current Massachusetts School Bus Driver Certificate, and meet all Registry of Motor Vehicles and Department of Elementary and Secondary Education requirements, including required background checks and medical certification.
