Responsibilities:- Review timesheets for accuracy and compliance with state labor laws (i.e., California)
- Process bi-weekly payroll, download and review reports, and compile payroll entries for GL
- Assist People Operations with new hires, terminations, and promotions
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and reconcile benefits invoices with payroll deductions (medical, dental, vision, and 401k)
- Manage & maintain time off policies in ADP
- Maintain state payroll tax accounts and create new accounts as needed
- Maintain supporting payroll documentation
- Process accounts payable (invoices and expense reports)
- Reconcile the corporate credit card transactions
- Assist accounting team with Netsuite bank transaction matching
- Implement processes improvements to streamline functions
- Assist with special projects
- The Specialist will have 3+ years of payroll and human resources experience. Multi-location experience is strongly preferred.
- The Specialist will have 3+ years of general accounting and/or accounts payable experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Strong working knowledge of ADP, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
