The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for Full‑Time Program Management Specialist (Process Analyst) (NH‑0301‑02) to work at Air Force Material Command (AFMC) in the Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex (WR‑ALC) at Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robins, Georgia.

Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to provide equipment, facility, and process improvement support while also executing facility and equipment modernization and sustainment programs in response to current and future production requirements identified through capacity analysis and planning.

Responsibilities
  • Performs studies, analyzes data, prepares plans, reports, agreements, tracks action items, monitors support effectiveness with respect to program management, and provides briefings to management when necessary (35%).
  • Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the organization, ensuring that logistics management related operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs (25%).
  • Participates in special logistics related operation projects and initiatives and performs special assignments. Identifies the need for special projects and initiates milestones and goals (20%).
  • Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships (20%).
Knowledge & Skills
  • Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of the program and/or strategic sourcing.
  • Knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component. Ability to apply the knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance.
  • Knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices as related to the requirements for performance‑based logistics, acquisition, supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with accuracy, and maintain good working relations with all individuals and organizations.
  • Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations as related to organizational issues. Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution.
  • Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required.
Additional Requirements
  • Employee must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance as a condition of employment.
  • Must have minimum 2 to 3 years continuous process improvement background at flight or squadron level.
  • Minimum Green Belt Certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of analytical skills; core requirement is the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
