The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for Full‑Time Supervisor Engineering Technician (Drafting) (NJ‑0802‑04) to work at Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the 78th Air Base Wing (78 ABW) at Robins AFB in Warner Robins, Georgia. 2026 Salary Range: $89,508.00‑$/Hour (includes locality). Posting Open: 2/17/2026 Posting Close: 3/2/2026.
- Serve as a first‑level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees.
- Plan, organize, and direct the activities of the Section, ensuring that design and construction complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
- Develop goals and objectives that integrate organizational objectives.
- Research, interpret, analyze and apply the proper guidelines, policies, and regulations that are associated with this work area.
- Exercise first‑level technical and administrative supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- Represent the Section with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
- Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with Air Force organizations and other internal and external customer and coordinating officials to assess customer satisfaction, explain organization policy and procedures, and resolve problems that arise.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Obtain & maintain a Security clearance.
- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station.
- Must possess an appropriate and valid driver’s license; work may require driving a motor vehicle.

Skills and Abilities
- General and practical knowledge of engineering concepts, methods, principles, practices, and techniques; familiarity with engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, structural, utilities, etc).
- Knowledge of program planning and budgeting cycles, financial control, and budget systems; work classifications and the regulatory and statutory restrictions on the expenditures of appropriated and non‑appropriated funds; automated data processing system capabilities and economic usage to effectively accomplish assigned functions.
- Knowledge of standard contracting regulations, practices, and procedures.
- Knowledge of analytical and diagnostic methods, procedures, and principles and surveying methods, equipment, and techniques of measurements to identify project requirements.
- Ability to plan and record site/facility surveys and inspections.
- Ability to research, analyze, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, and procedures in a variety of situations and recommend timely and economical solutions.
