Role OverviewThe Director of Sales will lead new business development and revenue growth exclusively across MSI’s staffing services. This role is responsible for building and closing a robust pipeline of contract staffing opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and partnering closely with recruiting leadership to ensure strong delivery execution and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Revenue Growth- Drive new client acquisition for contract, contract-to-hire, and project-based staffing solutions
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve individual and firm-wide staffing revenue targets
- Build and manage a consistent pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, and strategic partnerships
- Penetrate new accounts while expanding wallet share within existing staffing clients
- Act as a trusted workforce advisor, understanding client headcount plans, project demands, and staffing challenges
- Structure and negotiate staffing agreements
- Maintain long-term client relationships focused on repeat staffing engagements and account growth
- Partner closely with recruiting leadership to align sales commitments with delivery capabilities and speed-to-fill expectations
- Provide market intelligence on labor trends, competitive pricing, and workforce demand
- Contribute to the development of scalable sales processes, KPIs, forecasting, and pipeline management
- Travel as needed to meet clients, attend industry events, and support strategic business development initiatives
- 7+ years of staffing sales experience (agency environment required)
- Proven success closing contract and workforce solutions business
- Experience selling into mid-market and/or enterprise clients
- Relationship-driven, consultative seller with strong negotiation skills
- Self-starter who thrives in a remote, performance-driven environment
