Camp Dates: 5/26/2026 - 7/31/2026 (Tue
- Fri). Additional: one weekend to set up, one weekend to break down, and an orientation date.

Camp

Hours:

8:00 am - 6:00 pm (actual shifts will vary).

Hourly Wage: $17.25 - $19.75 per hour. Pay range depends on experience and other related factors.

Position Overview: At Steve & Kate's Camp, you will support our on‑site food program by preparing, serving, and cleaning up snacks and lunches; ordering and managing food‑service items and supplies; and maintaining kitchen and food‑service equipment in sanitary conditions. Minimal cooking is required; all entree meals are fully prepared and delivered to the camp.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, serve, and clean up snacks and lunch.
  • Order and manage food‑service items and supplies.
  • Maintain all food‑related equipment and spaces in sanitary conditions.
  • Participate in paid training and development on food‑service practices.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Actively supervise campers.
  • Maintain an organized and approachable activity space.
  • Ensure compliance with Camp Policies.
  • Report and record details of notable concerns or incidents, including injuries to campers, other staff members, or self.
  • Track and be aware of camper allergies and dietary restrictions.
  • Update camper profiles daily and add photos as required.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp‑age children, with 1 year preferred (professional, personal, or volunteer).
  • First Aid & CPR Certified prior to Day 1 of Camp (additional certifications may be required at some locations).
  • Serve Safe Food Handler Certification (provided if needed).
  • Will comply with all applicable immunization, employment screening, and safety training requirements.

Physical Requirements:

  • Maintain and follow all safety and health rules of the location.
  • Organize and maintain clean and accessible activity spaces.
  • Assist in camp set‑up and breakdown during move‑in and move‑out weekends.
  • Stand for long periods while supervising children and facilitating activities.
  • Participate in athletic games.
