Responsibilities- Support business and strategic planning for AEC Design by synthesizing market analysis, customer needs, competitive dynamics, product priorities, monetization considerations, and financial data
- Conduct research and analysis to inform growth strategy, portfolio decisions, pricing and packaging opportunities, and business model evolution
- Build business cases, financial models, market sizing analyses, and scenario plans to assess strategic options, trade‑offs, risks, and potential business impact
- Partner with Product, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Industry Strategy, and Go-to-Market teams to align on recommendations and execution considerations
- Contribute to the AEC Design strategic growth story, long‑term business vision, and key priorities, connecting customer value, market opportunities, portfolio strategy, and Autodesk’s broader platform strategy
- Translate complex business, product, market, and financial inputs into clear frameworks, executive‑ready narratives, presentations, and action plans
- Support high‑impact strategic initiatives, including new business opportunities, adjacent market exploration, portfolio rationalization, monetization changes, and go‑to‑market implications
- Track business performance, identify trends, and surface actionable insights that help teams make better decisions faster
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or advanced business degree is a plus
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in strategy, business planning, product strategy, business operations, consulting, technology, finance, analytics, or a related business role with exposure to pricing, packaging, or monetization
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience supporting market research, competitive analysis, business cases, financial modeling, scenario planning, or performance analysis
- Ability to synthesize complex business, product, market, customer, and financial inputs into clear recommendations, executive‑ready narratives, and action plans
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across Product, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Industry Strategy, and Go-to‑Market teams
- Interest in or understanding of AEC markets, design workflows, customers, and/or software business models

Salary transparencySalary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.
-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $103,000 and $183,920. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
