Project Manager – Interior Tenant Improvements & Buildouts (Retail & Restaurant)Location: Houston, TX

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee interior tenant improvement and buildout projects, with a focus on retail and restaurant environments. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented construction professional who thrives in fast-paced settings and can manage multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all phases of interior construction projects, including tenant improvements and buildouts
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure project alignment
- Track project costs, manage change orders, and maintain financial controls
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Identify and resolve project risks, delays, and field issues proactively
- Manage procurement of materials and subcontractor scopes
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
- Strong background in interior tenant improvements, specifically retail and/or restaurant projects
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Solid understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and cost control
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and plans
- Experience working in secure or high-compliance environments (e.g., transportation hubs, healthcare, or similar settings)
- OSHA certification or strong knowledge of safety standards
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required)
