Summary:
All classified positions strengthen the delivery of instruction to support the District’s mission.
- Conduct whole group, small group or individual classroom activities in accordance with specific program requirements.
- Help with all aspects of the daily routine.
- Assist with supervision of students.
- Follow direction of the supervising teacher.
- Assist with student assessment, grading work and tests, and collecting data on student progress.
- Assist with routine record keeping.
- Assist with the preparation of materials for instruction.
- Assist with classroom housekeeping.
- Assist students with daily activities and school functions.
- Assist in ordering and inventorying classroom equipment and materials.
- Assist with school-wide supervision.
- Participate in Professional Learning.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Education level within federal, state, and local guidelines.
- Certification as required by the Professional Standards Commission.
- Read, comprehend, write, and articulate job‑specific information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
- Perform basic mathematical operations and data analysis, including rate, ratio, percent, and bar graphs.
- Facilitate problem‑solving processes and synthesize workable solutions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other job‑specified technologies.
- Interact effectively with colleagues, administrators, teachers, staff members, and students, demonstrating cooperative and service‑oriented attitude.
- Serve as a role model to students with appropriate dress and grooming.
Must walk, stand, lift up to 50-75 pounds; occasionally crouch or kneel; regular outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
Work EnvironmentFrequent travel to home sites, school sites, and other locations; moderate noise levels.
Additional RequirementsBe on time, meet attendance standards, conduct activities safely, be reliable and responsible.
Salary$15.27 to $24.68 per hour;
Full‑time position.
