SummaryAll classified positions strengthen the delivery of instruction to support the District’s mission.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Conduct whole-group, small-group, or individual classroom activities in accordance with specific program requirements.
- Help with all aspects of the daily routine.
- Assist with supervision of students.
- Follow direction of the supervising teacher.
- Assist with student assessment, grading work and tests, and collect data on student progress.
- Assist with routine record keeping.
- Assist with the preparation of materials for instruction.
- Assist with classroom housekeeping.
- Assist students with daily activities and school functions.
- Assist in ordering and inventorying classroom equipment and materials.
- Assist with school‑wide supervision.
- Participate in Professional Learning.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Education and/or
Experience:
Education level must meet federal, state, and local guidelines. - Certificate or License: Certification required by the Professional Standards Commission.

Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend job‑specific technical information, simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, and position‑specific manuals; ability to write correspondence and reports; ability to articulate and present information in one‑on‑one and small‑group situations. - Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to conduct position‑related data analysis; ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages; ability to draw and interpret bar graphs. - Reasoning Ability: Ability to facilitate problem‑solving processes, synthesize workable options from given facts, and assist in the development of workable solutions.
- Technical Ability: Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other job‑specified technologies.

Skills:
Ability to interact effectively with colleagues, administrators, teachers, staff members, and students; collaborative attitude; service orientation and proactive assistance to others.
Must serve as a role model to students. Appropriate dress and grooming consistent with established standards are required.
Physical DemandsRequired to walk, stand, and lift regularly. Occasionally may need to crouch or kneel. Must exert or lift up to 50–75 pounds.
Work EnvironmentFrequent travel to home sites, school sites, and other locations. Work may involve exposure to traffic and outdoor elements. Noise level usually moderate. Employees often work in outside weather conditions.

Additional RequirementsMust arrive on time, meet attendance standards, conduct activities safely, and be reliable, responsible, and dependable in fulfilling job duties.
